Quince Men’s Overshirt Jacket on a Woman (Petite 5’2″ Try-On)

Ever wonder how a men’s jacket fits a petite woman? I tried Quince’s Double-Brushed Stretch Overshirt Jacket in a men’s small on my 5’2″ frame. Here’s how it fits, my measurements, and the details from Quince. This post has affiliate links.

How it fits on me

Quince lists it as cotton canvas with a touch of stretch, though I honestly can’t feel any give. The double-brushed fabric gives it a soft, substantial feel, a lot like broken-in denim, and it feels well made.

A men’s small fits me really well. It isn’t roomy on me, and there’s still enough room to wear a sweater underneath. It’s a great fall layer, but I’d want something warmer once winter hits.

My verdict: it’s a nice, high-quality jacket that fits me really well, and it’s worth it as a fall layer.

Mine has been washed, and it looks like it shrank a bit. If you’re considering it, think about sizing with that in mind and see what other reviewers say.

Is it true to size?

For me, a men’s small was a great fit, and not roomy at all. Since it may shrink a little in the wash, check the reviews before you choose.
